We're Gray and Stephanie, the proud owners and operators of Holeshot Herefords, a boutique Hereford stud nestled in the heart of Hawkes Bay.

Established in 2020, our stud is dedicated to breeding exceptional Hereford cattle that excel in both maternal and structural traits. We're passionate about producing cattle that thrive in New Zealand's diverse farming environments.

Our breeding program is built on a deep understanding of the importance of balancing maternal traits such as fertility, milk production, and temperament, with structural traits like growth rates, muscling, and soundness. 

As a team, we bring a unique combination of skills and experience to our stud. Gray brings a lifetime of farming experience and a keen eye for cattle selection, while Stephanie contributes a passion for genetics and breeding.

We're committed to using the latest technology and breeding tools to drive genetic progress in our herd. Our goal is to produce cattle that are not only exceptional mothers but also grow quickly, efficiently, and with the structural integrity to withstand the demands of modern farming.
